Bahia

Bahia - Bahia grass is a warm season southern grass which is resistant to drought, disease and most insect attacks. Bahia grass can survive in a variety of soils and requires some maintenance to keep looking good. Without fertilizer, Bahia grass will thin out over time. Bahia grass also has a low tolerance to many weed control herbicides.  It does well in lawns and along highways and its best used in sunny areas in warm humid regions. It is a hardy grass but does not do well in shade.  Proper irrigation is very important to Bahia’s continued success.
